Mangoma who broke the ranks with former Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai and later split with the then MDC Renewal leader Tendai Biti said it was unfortunate that Grace is distributing farm inputs on behalf of the government and this had to stop forthwith.
“The business of the First Lady distributing government resources at Zanu PF rallies must stop and stop now” he said further saying his party would participate in by elections and elections to give Zimbabweans an opportunity to choose the leadership that they want.
“RDZ has participated in three by elections and will continue to participate in elections. We believe in giving the Zimbabweans and opportunity to choose leadership they want through a credible, free and fair election”
Asked on why his party was not party of the recently launched National Electoral Reform Agenda (NERA), a document which sought to advocate for reforms, Mangoma said his party would ‘not have to work in a one track environment’ of big man mentality.
“ We don’t have to work in a one track environment. As RDZ we never saw the NERA document you are referring to. We will work with anyone who shares the same values with us” he said
Mangoma also blasted the signing of the Chinese deals by the Zimbabwean government saying of the 14 deals only ‘4 signed involved money’.
