Life moves very fast and if you don’t stop and look around once in a while you may miss it, so remember every man dies, but not every man lives.
Below is a bucket list of things to do before one dies, if you have better ideas, please leave them in the comments below.
1)Learn to sing or play an instrument.
2)Write thank-you notes to the people who’ve helped you, mentored you and looked out for you.
“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.” – Albert Schweitzer
Act on it.
3) Learn to ride a motorbike.
There are two reasons why it’s important to learn how to ride a motorbike.
a) You will look and feel ridiculously cool.
b) Having someone hold onto you will make you look and feel even more ridiculously cool.
4)Buy something extravagant and pay cash for it.
That car, that outfit, that holiday you have always hankered for, Just don’t let debt and interest ruin the joy of it. Make it 100% yours.
5) Learn a new language so well that you are able to flirt with a native-speaking stranger.
6) Travel the world.
See for yourself that indeed the world is round, visit the Eiffel Tower, live off the land, see the Amazon’s rain forests, the Nile, the pyramids, the Great Wall of China, the U.S.S. … Talk to strangers. Meet new people. If possible, live in a different country(ies) and for the bonus point, why not go for a green card marriage just to enhance the story?
7) Get arrested.
Ok, I am not advocating murder, robbery or anything of the sort here , so put the knife down. It could however be kind of funny to get arrested for a minor and embarrassing offence that you’ll have to talk about at parties for the rest of your life.
8) If you hate your job, quit. Do something that you’re passionate about.
If you want something, you’ll find a way to do it. If you don’t want it, you’ll find an excuse not to. Either way, life is FAR too short to do something you hate.
Do something you love.
9)Donate anonymously or in someone else’s name to a charity or a cause.
And never speak a word of it.
10)Start your own business.
Even something as simple as opening a Tuckshop kumaraini, working for yourself or making your own money gives an incomparable sense of freedom.
